The Mayor of Winsford 2011/12
At the Annual meeting of Winsford Town Council on Monday 16th May 2011 Gravel Ward Councillor Pam Booher (pictured) was elected as Town Mayor. Pam is now the longest serving Member of the Town Council, having been first elected in 1986. This will be the fourth time that she has served as Town Mayor. Her Mayoress for the year will be her close friend Bessie Bailey. Councillor Steve Smith will act as Deputy Mayor, with Councillor Mark Baker as his consort.
In her acceptance speech, Councillor Booher talked about her ambitions for the year ahead, and said that her chosen charity for the year will be to raise money for the Winsford Youth Forum.
