5. ACCOUNTS FOR APPROVAL
Schedule (‘B’) lists payments made since the last meeting
Schedule (‘C’) lists accounts for approval at this meeting
Schedule lists supplementary accounts for approval
6. BANK ACCOUNT MONTHLY RECONCILIATION STATEMENTS
Financial probity recommends monthly reconciliation of the Town Council’s accounts. (‘E’)
7. INTERNAL/EXTERNAL AUDIT
The Town Council’s year end accounts for 2016/17 were audited by the Internal Auditors – JDH Business Services Limited – on 31st May 2017. An action plan, based on the above report, is attached. (‘F’)
To inform Members that, following approval by the Finance Committee at its meeting on 19th June 2017, the Annual Return was sent to the Council’s External Auditors prior to the deadline of 3rd July 2017. Members are asked to note the attached document found at (‘G’)
RECOMMENDED: Members are asked to note these developments.
8. WINSFORD TOWN COUNCIL RESERVES POLICY
Members will recall that, at the previous meeting of the Finance Committee, a discussion took place on the need for a Reserves Policy. A proposed policy will be circulated to Members for comment at this stage, prior to a request for approval at the September meeting (‘H’)
